Tonight is the eve of All Hallows Eve. It is a time when the veil between the living and the dead is almost at its thinnest point, and a time when communion is made much easier.
Tonight, my husband, my daughter, her boyfriend, and I will be making a visit to the gravesite of my daughter's friend Erica, who passed away September 2, 2006 at the tender age of 21 years when an epileptic seizure caused her to fall over the railing of a third-floor balcony.
Erica was my daughter's closest friend, and since her passing, Karis has made a point of visiting her grave at least once a year. Erica loved Halloween, so tonight, we're all going to the cemetery to pay our respects to this once-vibrant, beautiful young woman... and do some light EVP work, too.
Of all the cemeteries I've visited in this city, so far, Mountainview Cemetery makes me the most uncomfortable. I don't know what it is about this particular cemetery, but every time I've been there, I've felt very nervous, antsy, and watched - watched in a way that made me feel I needed to be on my guard. Tonight, I hope to learn why I feel this way.
The results of our visit will be posted here as soon as possible.
On behalf of all of us here at Wolf Paranormal Investigations, we wish you all a safe and happy Halloween. Have a spiritful day and a spirited weekend...
