Site Updates

Wolf Paranormal Investigations is growing, and we are taking on more investigations. To accommodate these changes, we need to make some changes in our online presence, as well.  Some of the changes are taking place here at our blog, while others are taking place on our website, which we expect to be launching very soon. An announcement will be posted when the new site is ready for the public.

Blog Changes

1. Since our work is all done out of our own pockets - WPI has never charged for our services, nor will we - we are asking for help with equipment. We have placed a donation box above the Guestbook and Photos clickable images to reflect our current goal, shown below.

Currently, we are using digital cameras with video capability. Unfortunately, the video option does not allow us to record in low-light or night conditions. In those types of conditions, we can only take still photos using the flash, and in truth, there have been many times when we've wished we'd had a video recorder, as we'd seen something moving that we couldn't catch with still shots. The video recorder shown above has night-vision capability and a much longer recording capability, which makes it perfect for overnight investigations, and investigations lasting longer than one or two hours.

2.  We have removed the livestream link, as we rarely use that site, anymore. Ongoing technical issues that freeze our studio, and spammers coming in under many different names to disrupt the broadcasts, have encouraged us to make our permanent home at blogstar, and that is where we will be broadcasting from now on. We will keep the livestream studio, however, as many of our shows are archived there. To visit our blogstar page, click the link in the sidebar, under the "We're Here Too" heading.

3.  When we post videos, we are going to be providing some, if not all of the audio clips below the video. Sometimes, an EVP must be heard several times to understand what is being said, and having the audio clip available is easier than rewinding the video to find the time marker. The next video we post will include audio clips.

Please stay tuned for further updates.  We are working hard to bring our visitors a quality site that is informative and interesting.
